make good beer at home....not hard at all! place fermenting buckets/bottles in a large container with water and throw in frozen water bottles to maintain the temperature.
i couldn't write back to whoever PM'd me. sorry.
Oh, I pm'd you, not to buy, just to say that I've been brewing on the island aswell. I too can vouch that it doesn't take much time, basically like cooking soup, for those who've never done it. I use the same cooling method too, I get great results.
Hey OlReagan, thanks for substantiating the ease of fermenting for me. I tasted my bottled brown ale last night. Even though I still have a week left in the carbonation process, my beer delicious. I've decided to take my kit with me. What was I thinking trying to sell it?!
Have you tried the beers at Bavaria in Simpson Bay across from Scotia Bank? The best break on the island is a peppersteak or beef onion pie with a glass (500 ml) of Erdinger at the bar. Each pie is $6.50 and each beer is $6.50. Bavaria's monthly beer and sausage fest was a little disappointing, but their beer is always good. Cheers!
