I have skipped the idea of going to Oradea, because there is this new limit only 15 place for europeans! And what comes to Cluj ,i think the application processing fee is too high (250 e) if not accepted. I don`t know about Bucharest and Timisoara, anyone with expereinces?
Timisoara dont have very good websites, but it would be OK?

15 seats, but 12 of those seats are for FREE! no tuition fee. And it applies only for european citizens. the number of seats are much more for non-europeans!

the friend of mine who currently studies in Romania told me that they require to know just the basics. So, if you are a responsible and hard-working student you will manage it anyway!

note that no one really cares where you graduate from...be it: Bucharest, Oradea, Cluj, Iasi, Constanta, targu Mures, Arad, Timisoara..all of them are EQUALLY RECOGNISED under the EU/EEA law and in other countries of the world...

having said that, Bucharest do not require application fee BUT require an English language entrance exam (to be written in september) and you would need to enrol for the english eam + pass it before you are registered--tuition for Eu student is 5000 EUR per year and can be paid in 3 instalments...2000 EUR (first 3 months)...2000EUR (second 3 months) and.. 1000 EUR (third 3 months)---total of 9months = 1 academic year

Rule 1: Don't ever look at websites to judge a Romanian Medical university again!!! -- Well, it's true..,Timisoara is a good university as well--tuition for EU student is 4000 EUR per year and you cannot pay in 'instalments' unlike Bucharest. Timisoara require application fee of about 100 EUR or so BUT the english language exam is more of a protocol than a qualifying exam (unlike Bucharest)

    Other tuition fees:
Arad (2880 EUR--Non-EU)--- requires 200 EUR non-refundable application fee by univ. + COMPULSORY Entrance exam (Biology or Chemistry) for EU students to be written in July/August---If an EU student passes this examination ,t he tuition fee= 1440 EUR per year
*You will qualify to write the entrance exam in Arad only IF you have obtained the acceptance letter for recognition of studies to study Medicine in Romania (at Arad univ.)

Constanta (3600 EUR)--No application fee by univ.

Oradea 3168 EUR + 150 EUR non-refundable application fee by univ. + COMPULSORY Entrance exam (Biology or Chemistry) for EU students to be written in July! --If an EU student passes this examination ,the tuition fee= 1600 EUR per year
*You will qualify to write the entrance exam in oradea only IF you have obtained the acceptance letter for recognition of studies to study Medicine in Romania (at oradea univ.)

Targu Mures--5000 EUR but no application fee

Iasi (5000 EUR--no instalmental payment)--100 EUR application fee

Cluj (5000 EUR--no instalmental payment) + 200-250 EUR application fee + *entrance exam may apply

all d best in your academic pursuit...

just a addon about oradea , letter of acceptance is processed by faculty , foreign department , so it is safe (they make sure your files are complete and do themselves application in bucarest - no risk to fail)
and regarding non-EU admission , this year again , some free seats left (no agents , less advertising) .. maybe the only one in this situation.

yep , I'm actualy finishing this year. I can just say : go for it , nobody never complained after I gave this advice... I've no interest in "selling" this faculty , I just spent very good time here
interesting especialy for non EU students actualy , competition is higher for admission of EU students (entrance exam)
transferts are accepted usualy till 3d year
