Question Admission to Philippine Medical Schools without taking NMAT?

I've read somewhere that there are Medical Schools that accept students who were not able to take their NMAT, but can't find the thread. Does anyone know those schools? Thanks a bunch.

Fatima will apparently let some folks take the NMAT after they arrive-but they do require it be taken.

NMAT is nothing to be afraid of.

I'm a first year at Fatima, and I was accepted without the NMAT. I took it at the end of my first semester, just as a formality.

Try checking out UP-Manila. Its a great and prestigious school in the Phil. They also have a curriculum that let's you finish Med in just 7 years but you have to pass a series of exams and interviews. Don't dread the NMAT, am sure you will do good on it. Med life is a lot difficult

UP requires NMAT (not just a regular score but at least 90 plus percentile). They rarely take foreign grads unless they have faculty connections (children of faculty). The 7 year program is after high school and they get top scorers in their entrance test for high schoolers (UPCAT).

Hello! I'm new to this forum. I was wondering if you know if it's possible for foreign students to take the NMAT after first semester too, like how you did it. It'd save a lot of money for me as they don't offer the NMAT in Canada. Thanks!

If you missed the April exam, they will allow you to enroll and take the December exam (usually first week of December). You have to apply at CEM by September or Oct. Hope this helps

For the International Class, tuition is $7,000 USD per year ($3,500 / semester). A one time fee ("donation fee") of $6,000 USD is also required - to be paid before the end of your first year at Fatima.
