    (2) Subperiosteal: On other hand subperiosteal implants are over the jawbone, means they are located in the gum tissue.


    There are different types of material that are used in dental implant. Material used in it as follows.

    • Titanium Implants
    • Zirconia Implants

    The first are Titanium Implants they are the most common and used material type used for dental implants, these are used to replace the broken bones. On other hand Zirconia Implants are the new one they are also called as ceramic implants these dental implants are hypoallergenic, they are not made with metal and reduces the risk of infection in gum.
