Within two weeks after the complete application and documents have been received, the Registrar will schedule a telephone conference call or personal interview between the Admissions Committee and the applicant. Because the Registrar cannot schedule an interview until all the admissions materials are complete, please be sure to read the entire packet carefully. The Admissions Committee will seek to evaluate the candidate's potential for admission based on several criteria, including:

  • Intellectual and academic ability.
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Goals for entering the medical field.
  • Letters of recommendation.

  • Personal qualities: spontaneity, enthusiasm, motivation, and sound judgement.
  • Willingness to work as a team member, accept responsibility for their actions, function effectively under stress, and to display flexibility.

Following the interview, students will be notified of their admission status within 10 days. After receiving a letter of acceptance from the Medical University, students will be required to acknowledge their candidacy within 30 days and submit a non-refundable tuition deposit to secure a position in the class. The deposit is credited toward tuition when the student matriculates. The remainder of the tuition and fees are due 45 days prior to the beginning of the semester in which admission has been granted.
