this disease will cause metal detector to go off

A patient comes to medical attention after he sets off the metal detector at the airport, despite removing his watch, belt buckle, and every other obvious source of metal. Which of the following diseases might be responsible for this phenomenon?

    What a scary disease.

Metal detector detects metal. Copper and iron are metals. Copper is Wilson and Iron is hemochromatosis.

My answer is Wilson disease because copper will set it off.

My answer is hemochromatosis because metal detector detects iron better than copper.

    Copper:
Apparently the reason that policemen in the USA are nicknamed "cops" or "coppers" is to do with their uniforms which used to have copper buttons.
