"gr t popa" my honest opinion as a student.

Look I'm a student here and I don't get anything out of giving this university a bad name. I've been a student here for a year and it's driving me crazy. I'll be very honest. This university sucks big time.
If you're able to cope well with teachers treating you bad and all, then you're fine but here's the low down/. Majority of students pay their way here and as a result the teachers demand more from you then needed. Don't be surprised if you find a student in the same year as you, speaks not a word of english, does not turn up to any lesson and still passes exams. This is wide spread here. You will not see it in first semester, but you'll definitely see it in second. For some important subjects, the teachers do not carry out a single practical and you're tested on that in the final exam. You'll find questions you've never heard or learnt in your final exams. Kissing teachers *** works better than working hard. You either have to be an exceptionally hard working student or filthy rich student to pass here.
Some teachers even fail you. You have no rights whatsoever and the teachers have no problem in saying that to your face. Theirs nothing standing in their way of cursing you and insulting. And by the way, Romanian students are treated no different to international so solving this problem is practically impossible.

Aside from all this the good point about this university is that anatomy is really worked on and some teachers really understand your pain and help you out. All international students stick together so tht good but that's all I can say about this place.

I know all this is hard to swallow but this is how it was for me when I first came here. I never believed any of it until I witnessed it for myself. Remember curruption is everywhere in Romania but it's not as wide spread and blunt as in this university. As a student I'm only helping the prospective students out because the time I applied I was lied to majority of time by many students. If I had been told earlier and current students were honest to me, I would have not applied to "Gr T Popa".

    All the best,

and here are prices for buying teachers (with names of the teachers) Google Traduction
this faculty is just a SHAME. but with money in romania you can even buy a good fame.
next year , tuition will be 7000 ...

It appears somewhat ridiculous to me, I had a friend from Iasi who never mentioned anything like this. If that story is accurate, imagine the salaries of these professors... 250 euros x 300+ students. 600 euros from one professor for the Romanian students? You can get a car for that price and most students only dream of a car.
