Besides FM, there are two OB/GYN programs that go through CHMC. Other than that, CHMC would be greenbook under umbrella.

University of Southern California/LAC+USC Medical Center Program [2200511036] OB/GYN

California Hospital Medical Center - Participating Institution
    Type of Rotation: Required
Year 1 Months of Rotation: 1.5

    Year 4 Months of Rotation:

How much can the "umbrella" cover? Can it cover all the cores?

I've been assigned to Dr. W's office for IM, and he specialized in endocrinology. I'll update on how it goes.

I believe there is only one spot per IM rotation at CHMC. I received an email from the coordinator and I am the only student with IM from Ross. When I talked to Phil, he said I took the last [and only] spot.

EDIT: First day of IM rotations is over. From what I've learned today, there are 3 Ross students assigned to USC FM residents at a time who report to Dr. W. New students rotate every 6 weeks. You are on hospital service, not office. Days start at 5am and end around 5-6p M-F, no weekends. Once a week, you are on on-call nights either Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday. For example, if you are on-call Tuesday, you start 5am, overnight it, and leave around 10a Wednesday.

    Hi

I was wondering if anyone doing rotations at CHMC or metropolitan can offer me some advice on finding housing in the LA area? I'm a male Ross student, and I'm okay with either a single studio or a shared apartment. I'll be staying there for 18 weeks. So please let me know. Thank you!
