    voltages

You can ue US standard plugs. They will run a little hotter because the cycles are 50. But all will be OK. Bring a surge protector.

    clocks

dont suggest you bring a clock that uses a plug....

if the current is higher at aruba it means that the clock will run faster

i think its 50 cycles or somethin...in that cause... a clock will run 10mins fater for every one hour..so its goin to say 1 hour passed while reaally, 50 mins passed

    Smile GSM Phone

    Hi Frank,

When you say to bring a GSM phone do you mean to bring one that is unlocked so we can activate it in Aruba or bring one that has already been activated in the US or Canada?

How expensive is having a phone line there?

bring one that is unlocked, it's really expensive to get it unlocked in aruba, and they can't put a chip in it unless it's unlocked.

Does anyone know what band Aruba uses for GSM cell phones? I don't want to get a quadband phone if I don't need it....
